History

The Svea School House is listed on the "National Historic Registry."

Built in 1907, it was described as a "state of the art" school.  It stands a complete 4 floors, on the prarie of central Minnesota.

In 1987 the tired worn out, four level school house sat abandoned amongst the corn & soy bean fields.  Along came two visionary/creative teachers who saw possibilities!
